1 Year Blogaversary – THANK YOU!

Oh my God.
It’s been a year already.
Exactly one year ago, after months of wanting to, I finally went to WordPress and registered a blog. This blog.
And boy, has it been a ride since then.
I said it before, and I’ll say it again: you guys are the absolute sweetest people in the whole world. I can only dream of meeting people like you in my everyday life. Your comments have never failed to make me smile. If it weren’t for you, I’d have dropped this whole thing a few months in.
Writing my thoughts out, and especially knowing that they will be read by somebody, is such a liberating experience. I know I have you guys. Just look at my last few posts! Overwhelming support, even from those if you who are new to my blog! I posted the same thing on another forum, and all I got was a few likes. And that’s from people I interract with on a daily basis.
I know I have been posting less frequently in the last few months, but I am happy with the way things are. If I force myself to write posts I don’t feel like writing, this whole thing will become a chore, which it is NOT supposed to be. I want my blog to be a place I can escape to, not from.
And as I promised you, I AM planning a huge community game, and as I also promised, the announcement will be coming soon. Not Gaga soon. Soon soon. One-month-before-Hogwarts-traditionally-opens-its-doors soon 😉

(Edit: Apparently I registered my blog at 4:02 PM because WordPress just sent me an anniversary message! XD)

I loved sharing my life with you guys. And I know, one day, I’ll look back to these posts and be swept away by nostalgia and happy memories… Ah man.
Thank you. Thank you all for making this year a true revival for me. Thank you for being my friends. Thank you for proving to me that wonderful people like you do exist.
Thank you for reading.

#3Days3Quotes Challenge – Day 1!

Hello!
I was tagged by Keira to do this. Thank you so much!
If any of you happened to be around my blog during last November, you might remember that this is not my first time doing this challenge, and that it ended very, very badly (wait what am I saying why would you remember a random post from my blog dating 6 months lol @ me).

Anyway, I’m glad I got the opportunity to do it again. Hopefully with no twist endings and excessive swearing this time.

So here are the rules:

»Thank the person who nominated you.
»Post a quote for three consecutive days however long it takes
»Nominate three new bloggers each day.

Today I will continue where I left off. As I was planning on posting Harry Potter quotes last time but never got to post them, here’s the first quote:
image

It is extremely hard to choose from the sea of excellent Harry Potter quotes, but this one has always had a special place in my heart. Maybe because I see it everyday, and try to live by it. Hypocrisy is everywhere; a man will go to huge lengths to please his equals, the people he thinks ‘matter’, but will disregard or belittle anyone he thinks is below his ‘level’. I even see it in high school. How these self-appointed popular jerks (and I say jerks because there are popular kids who are truly friendly and deserve that title) can will themselves to ignore and act as though the rest of their peers don’t exist, I will never understand.

You don’t have to be condescending to make yourself ‘above’ someone. The way some people treat their maids is apalling, and I’m sad to say I know a lot of them. The african maids in my country aren’t even mistreated; they’re not treated. They’re taken care of like a house pet. I always try to just engage them in conversation, talk to them as fellow human beings, because that’s just what they are. Their human lives don’t have ro stop just because they travelled to a different country to earn a modest living.

I’m rambling and maybe straying off topic here, but that issue is close to my heart.

I hope you enjoyed today’s quote!

My nominees are:

Selfie the newly declared Queen
L the self-appointed Joker
Elm the recently demoted Tree

Obviously I had to pick my freshly appointed royal squad. Slay tricks or you get eliminated.

Have a good day! 😀

All the (other) things!

Okayy so here is the continuation of my adventures! Such adventures!

Tuesday, March 8th

The school trip! It was so good.

Actually it was so good that imma make a separate post for that. I got mah reasons. Next!

Wednesday, March 9th

Teacher’s day! Well, this is more about the event than the actual day (it was a day off, actually, so nothing special). My fellow class president and I wanted to do something special for teachers far from the usual chocolate box, mug, bouquet or poem. We also wanted to throw in some wit.
We decided that we’d make trophies for every teacher, and each one would be for a special quality that we think the teacher has. For example, we had Most Competent Teacher, Most Elegant, Best Smile, Loveliest, Cutest, Most Cultivated, Most Helpful… We also got mugs for our part-time teachers, a star shaped trophy for our pastor because we couldn’t think of anything else, personal keychains for the hall monitors and assistants, and a room freshener for our principal and nun.
That’s not all. We also made the students vote for their favorite teacher, and the winner would receive an additional prize, which consisted of a pay-cheque in the name of the teacher with a value of ‘One Million Thank You’s – for being such an amazing teacher!’
Look at ’em:

image

image

image

To say the teachers liked them is an understatement. They were truly touched, and a couple of them teared up. The truth was that they really don’t get enough recognition, and to be appreciated for something you do must feel rewarding.
Oh, guess who won Favorite Teacher? Some of you might infamously remember my post about him. For some weird reason, it’s one of my most viewed, and I feel bad about it.
Well he was tied for 1st place with our Math teacher. I had voted for my French teacher, but sadly I was the only one to do so. So I gave him my vote and he won. He can thank me later.
No, really, I’d never seen him so happy. Teachers are so cute!

Friday, March 11th

That day was the birthday of a friend of mine who I’d been neglecting lately. Last year, I didn’t even remember his birthday, heck, I didn’t even know when his birthday was. But he came to mine and brought me gifts. He also treats me the best out of all my friends and has a really good heart. I don’t understand why he annoys me so much, and it makes me feel guilty, so I decided to throw him a surprise birthday party. I got him cake, and gifts and organized it all. Those are ’em:

image

image

It ended up being very fun, we played Lazer Tag and arcade games and the cake was really good. He was happy and I felt satisfied. I’m trying to treat him nicely (well, I was never directly mean or hurtful – I’d never do that. My attitude just got colder), he really doesn’t have many friends or hobbies. Sometimes I feel like he’s lowkey depressed from the inside, but then I tell myself he’s a village dude and that’s how they all are.
Oh well.

Sunday, March 20th

This was paaaalm sundaaaay
A.k.a picture taking day woo
No but really. We took more than 300 pictures, my (maternal) cousins, sisters and I. Fiiiiine I’ll post a few:

image
That's us 11 years ago. Awwww.

image

(I’m sure you asked for them subconsciously)
It was also a historical milestone, because I
I
I…
Changed the side my hair is parted *SCREAMS*
I actually didn’t change it. My coiffeur did (not pretentiousness, I just really don’t know how it’s spelled in English). And I just went with it. At first it looked so weird to me. It still does, kind of. But oh well, change is good, and he styled it really well. To quote my best friend, I look like “a mexican actor from a dramatic soap opera”. I took that as a compliment.

image
Hola, mi nombre es Anthony y soy un mexican actor who doesn't really speak Spanish properly

I keep looking at the mirror and going aaaaaa and feeling bad because it won’t look as good tomorrow. Oh well.
In other news, I said a duet at church. I thought it sounded well, but apparently no one really heard me because my voice was too low. I got dragged. What a flop.

Saturday, March 12th

I had been looking forward to this day for MONTHS. It deserve a whole post for itself, actually. Stay tuned 😉

Honorable Mention: I’ve been really active on GagaDaily lately. I joined not too long ago and it’s honestly the best thing. I can’t wait for LG5! The people there are so different from us bloggers. Here we have the nicest bunch of people on the planet, who always support each other and have nice things to say and respect everyone. There? Mess (mess is slang for ‘total disaster’, as you’d learn find out there). Everyone is shady, snarky, witty, funny, and a goddamn diva. And I honestly love it. Best of both worlds!

Making my wish come true!

Today, I went to a music school and signed up for piano lessons.
It was not my first time having a shot at learning the instrument: I had taken some lessons for about 2 months in Grade 4 [STOP RIGHT THERE: I just went to search for my old piano book. After finding it and going through the pages I found out that it was more like 6 months. HOW THE FUCK COULD I HAVE SPENT 6 MONTHS LEARNING THE PIANO AND I BARELY REMEMBER ANYTHING?! I just tried playing some of the basic things in there and I suck so much.]
Well that was like 8 years ago. Wow.
Anyway, I don’t really remember if I started taking lessons back then for any purpose beside having an activity. I don’t think there was, because I became uninterested after a few months and just quit, never giving it much more thought.
In Grade 8, about 3-4 years ago, however, I decided to turn on my keyboard. It had been sitting in my room since fourth grade, just being there. It was back when I really stated to listen to music, especially Lady Gaga, and that’s when I became a huge fan of hers. So I was taking in all these awesome songs. I guess I just needed to regurgitate them.
That’s how I discovered how to play song tunes by ear.
Yep, I just went to that keyboard, tried all the different combinaisons there was until I hit the right note, and memorized the sequence.
I became truly amazed by how every melody could be played using this simple instrument. I even remember that I once started staring at my piano and thinking ‘Omg. All of the world’s songs that have ever been written and that will ever be written are inside this thing. HOW?!’
Well, soon, I found out that it wasn’t really a ‘simple’ instrument. There were tunes I just couldn’t get, which was frustrating. Also, I could only play stuff I had memorized, usually with lots of errors, and I had NO idea how people could play with two hands at once. Or even one hand, keeping every finger on a note. No matter how hard I tried, my hands could not be tamed!
I wished I had continued piano.
I literally spent years seeing people play and being jealous, getting a tinge of longing every time I saw a piano, desperately trying to make myself play better. I have no idea just WHY I didn’t just start taking piano again!
Looking back at it now, I honestly can not explain why I didn’t go back to piano. I clearly wanted it. What was wrong with me?!
But now things have changed. Yes, I can proudly say that I have finally decided that I want to learn piano. I need to be taught, because if I don’t, I’ll always feel this bitterness, I’ll always regret not doing it.
Better late than never!
What pushed me to sign up was my friend Mini. Yes, the same Mini I talked about about four months ago, when I posted about how I joined the school choir. It’s not a coincidence; Mini just loves music and wants people to love it too. I mean that’s what I deduced, you know, after he convinced me of doing both of these thimgs.
Joining the choir remains one of the best decisions I made last year, and that’s all thanks to him. So I really, really hope that the same scenario will repeat itself and that a few months from now, I’ll look back and be even more grateful for him.
So here’s to piano! To music! To new experiences! To friendship! To cheesy toasts! To doing well on my physics test after being convinced I wouldn’t!
Goodnight!

That’s why I’ll never stop blogging (probably)

If you read my About page, you’d notice that since the beginning I was suspecting that eventually I’d start ignoring this blog and getting uninterested, just like what happens with so many things. I thought it’d be just a ‘phase’ or something. I’m really scared of not committing.

Now my blog is five months old, and I have not once considered leaving for good. But I still had my doubts, given my cute little trust issues.

It wasn’t until a few days ago that I was hit by the realization that no, I will not suddenly stop blogging. I simply can’t.

Why? Because of you guys.

Yes, that does sound cheesy. But it doesn’t make it any less true.

When I started out, I always thought that this blog was just going to be for me. I never thought I’d actually have readers, because how are people even going to find my blog?! I had no way of knowing that a huge part of blogging are other bloggers.

I think we can all agree that 99% of our readers are other bloggers. We mutually support each other. That’s how this community is built.

Whenever someone starts out, and we find out about them, we are quick to head to their blog and offer them help and support. That’s just how we are. We’re a kind, loving, friendly community.

And that is why I could not just decide to quit blogging, just like I could not decide to quit being friends with everyone I know.

We have all become a family, in the way that each and every one of us is essential. Can you imagine a blogosphere without Elm’s awesome posts? Or Em’s sweetness? Or L’s creation of the blogospherian vocabulary? Or all the amazing things every single one of us brings to the table?

We are one big lovely family, that grows with every new blog, rejoices with every success, and mourns with every departure and tragedy.

So I just want to say I’m thankful to be part of this community. And I’m so glad I made the decision to join you last year. And though it might seem like I’m preaching, this really comes from the heart.

I just hope that 2016 will see us grow in both number and solidarity, and that we’ll always be there laughing and crying with each other. Blog on!

(PS: I CAN’T BELIEVE IT I JUST HIT 200 FOLLOWERS WHAT A PERFECT TIMING OMG YAS)

12 Collabs of Christmas – Day #10 – Christmas Opposites Tag! (Ft. Laura)

Hello! It’s me (again). I’ve been wondering if after all these OKAY NOPE.
Today I have another tag, but this one I’ve come up with myself, together with Laura from LaLa’s Book Reviews.
It’s a Best/Worst list of all things Christmas! Sounds fun, right?
Let’s go!

Laura’s answers are purple
My answers are pure gold
Just kidding, they’re just yellow
You just got trolled

Best Christmas & Worst Christmas

I can’t think of one particular Christmas that was the best. However, my favourite Christmas holidays were during my childhood. In my country, kids are the ones who are decorating the Christmas Tree, and the classrooms at school. It was really fun to decorate my class with my classmates (we usually have one classroom for at least on year or more; we only move when we have to go to a lab.). Since we had the same classmates for the whole four years of elementary school, middle school or college, there was a competition between classes: who has the nicest decorated room. We would also go and sing carols to our teachers. For example, in grade 11 we went from class to class to sing carols to teachers and other students. And yes, it was during school hours. Some teacher also invited us to go to their house, sing carols to them and have a little chat. It was really nice, and we had a lot of fun.
My worst Christmas was in 2009, since I came to Canada in November 2009. I didn’t get to spend the holiday with friends and family. It was only me and my parents; I don’t think we had a Christmas tree that year. I also noticed that here, nobody decorated classrooms, nobody sang carols during school, the teachers weren’t that close to their students the way the ones in my country are. In a way it didn’t feel like Christmas at all.

I don’t think I can really pin down a best or worst Christmas… I mean, generally all of them were great. I don’t remember one of them that was more or less special than the other… All I honestly remember are the gifts, which is really bad. I know.

Best gift you’ve got & Worst gift you’ve got

I was in 7th or 8th grade, and my mum bought me Harry Potter 5 for Christmas. I loved it, especially since I’ve been waiting for a few months for the book to come out. It is not the only nice gift I got for Christmas, but it’s one that I will always remember.

Well, I got a new phone last year, what’s better than that?! I also remember a laptop I got when I was young. It was a ‘toy’ laptop, but for me it was awesome. Back then, laptops were the new thing, so I was thrilled and felt cool. It had so many features, I remember the neighbors came to our place to play on it because we didn’t even have computers then. But I lost it >_<

As for the worst gift, I remember it clearly. It was a portable mp3 player. First of all, I wasn’t old enough to listen to my own music yet. I was still at the age where something big and colorful would make a better gift than something small but valuable. Second, it only read CDs. Third, IT NEVER WORKED! I was really disappointed.

Best gift you’ve given & Worst gift you’ve given

When I was younger (elementary), I used to buy my mum silly stuff, like cheap earrings and other stuff like this. Since she never liked them or wear them, I suppose they were terrible gifts.

I only started giving gifts a few years ago, when we did ‘Ange Gardien’ in class, or what you might call Secret Santa. I always like my gifts to be nice and meaningful. I think the worst one I’ve given was in sixth grade, I was new to this whole secret santa thing so I did what everyone else was doing and got him… A mug. I admit it. I am ashamed, but oh well.

The best gift I gave for Christmas… I don’t know. I got my bestie Endgame by James Frey, a book she had been wanting, and though it’s just a book I’m really glad I got it because it’s fantastic.

Best Christmas traditions & Worst Christmas traditions

One of the best Christmas traditions is carol singing. In my country we go from door to door, or from gate to gate and sing carols to our friends and neighbours. They usually give

Worst Christmas traditions. I hate it when Christmas is reduced to buying a lot of stuff, eating a lot and giving presents. Sure, it’s not all bad, but these are not really things

I don’t think we have a bad Christmas tradition… No. I can’t think of any. But the best one is, as I previously stated, dinner at my Grandma’s.
Best Christmas song & Worst Christmas song

Best Christmas songs:

Carols. I love carols.

O Tannenbaum

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27JleM39TPY

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXMM24n1yno

Worst Song:

Cyndi Lauper – Feels Like Christmas

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtTY9CTbI7M

I love carols too. Any would do 😀 I love Adeste Fideles because, well, I just sang it yesterday in a  small recital (#star). Petit Papa Noel is also the biggest classic.

I kinda hate ‘Last Christmas’ by WhateverHisNameIsIDon’tRememberAndFranklyDon’tCare. I think it’s just pointless, and has no relation to Christmas whatsoever, excpet that it mentions it in the chorus, and has a cheesy christmasy melody. Urgh.

Five things you hate & love about Christmas

Five things I hate about the Christmas season:
· The amount of people in stores; especially during sales days. I hate agglomeration.
· The fact that “helping needy people” is just a Christmas thing. I know there are people who help others all the time, but during the Christmas season, everywhere you go and look there is an ad about how it’s nice to donate and do this because it’s Christmas.
· Bad music in stores. It’s kind of annoying to hear Christmas songs on repeat when you go shopping. How about no music at all? 😛
· Terrible movies at TV.
· Coca-Cola

What I love about Christmas:

·Traditional Christmas food ❤

·Hot wine

·Spending time with family and friends

·Decorating the tree and the house

·Carols

Five things I hate:

1-All the preaching. We get it. Love. Kindness. Modesty. Helping people. Come up with something creative for a change!

2-The commercialization is awful. Come on, some things are taken way too far.

3-Celebrities trying to put out christmas songs. Ugh. They never work for me.

4-The radio during christmas week. It ONLY plays christmas songs. IT’S ANNOYING!

5-We’re only given less than two weeks as christmas break. That’s not enough AT ALL.

Five things I love:

1-The decorations. They’re SO fun to put up! In my home, in class, everywhere. Even changing my phone wallpaper to a christmas tree is satisfying!

2-Christmas carols. They’re really fun to sing, and get me in the holiday feel.

3-Grandma’s food. On Christmas eve we all gather at our paternal grandma’s house where we share an amazingly delicious meal. I CAN’T WAIT FOR TONIGHT’S AAAAAA

4-The ‘surprise’ arrivals. Every year now, one of my two uncles who live in Australia makes a surprise appearance on Christmas. It has happened so many times now that we’re getting used to it.

5-Opening presents. Oh what fun it is to wonder what may be hidden inside the wrapping paper! Just opening these suckers is a gift in itself.

Hope you enjoyed this tag 🙂 I nominate anyone who would like to do it.

Have a great day!

12 Collabs of Christmas – DAY #8 – The Best Friend Tag! (Ft. Lily)

Hello! Today’s collab is something quite different, indeed I am doing it with one of my best friends (and the only person I have told about my blog – except for my other best friend who thinks blogging is lame; and it’s really his loss because now he doesn’t get to be featured here. Tant pis pour toi.)

So I call her Lily and I wanted to do a post with her since ages; now I have the chance! Yay! She’s the third person I know that have been featured on my blog, the first two being my sister.

Also, this is even more special because this will be my 100th post! I’m SO excited. I never thought I’d achieve this, but I did! Ugh, I love my blog.

With no further blabbing, here is our collab, the Best Friends Tag 🙂 here we go!

My answers are black

Lily’s are purple

I’m tired and can’t find a rhyme

Turtle

1. How and when did we meet?

Me: we went to the same school our whole lives. But we were never in the same class and we only really met in seventh grade, that’s when we started being friends.

Lily: We’ve been in the same class since grade 7. But in grade 9 we sat next to each other for a few months and we became really close.

2. What are your favourite memories together?

Me: we’re very ‘conservative’ friends, in the way that we’re not the type that hangs out all the time and does crazy stuff. One of my favorite memories was on a spiritual retreat our school took us on, we just spent the day together and it was very nice. I don’t know why this memory sticks out, but I guess it’s because back then I was just starting to make friends and it had been long since I spent a day with someone.

L: That same spiritual retreat 💓

3. Describe each other in one word.

Me: Special.

L: Gentle (lol thx?)

4. What’s your best friend’s dream job?

Me: her life’s dream is to become doctor. I really hope that happens! I don’t doubt it either, because she’s passionate about biology, and I know she’s going to make it.

L: He loves being an author. I’m pretty sure he’s gonna be a great one because of his passion for writing and literature.

5. What’s your best friend’s favourite makeup brand?

Me: well I’m no expert on make up. That’s obvious. So I’m going to say it’s that yellow chapstick that’s always in her purse 😂 she loves that chapstick.

L: Well.. No make up brand of course but I’d love to see him in Miranda’s lipstick 😂

6. What is something that annoys you about the other person?

Me: we don’t do enough stuff together! Also, WHY DO U HATE MIRANDS WHYYY

L:He always contradicts me😤😤

7. If you could go anywhere in the world together, where would it be?

Me: I really want us to go to the Universal Harry Potter Parks! We’re both huge Potterheads. We’d have SO much fun.

L:England. Or Scotland. Visit JK Rowling maybe

8. Favourite inside joke?

Me: we don’t have many… She once told me a story about her young brother and it’s so silly but also hilarious and every time we mention it I can’t help but laugh.

L:We don’t have a specific one. But we always relate everything we see or hear to something in Harry Potter which makes us laugh stupidly

9. My best friend looks beautiful when ________

Me: definitely when she laughs. I think everyone who looks happy looks beautiful!

L:-he’s angry. He usually gets angry out the blue and starts shouting at everyone.

10. Your best friend’s favourite season?

Me: I’m pretty sure it’s winter. She’s literally always praying that it starts raining. Also, she loves coziness, and frankly who doesn’t?!

L:He prefers summer. Ugh i hate it

Wait wait wait wait wait wait. WAIT. I LOVE SUMMER?! What kind of best friend are you even.

11. If your best friend has a scar, how did they get it?

Me: she once fell on her bike when she was 10 and it caused major problems. Now it’s 6 years later and I can’t see any scars, but she does. That’d haunt me too if it it happened to me.

L:He doesn’t have any scar

12. What is it like being best friends with a blogger?

Me:Hmm, lilz, why didn’t you answer this one? I’ll do it for you: EXHAUSTING. She must have had it with my stupid blog But you love it, right?

Right???

So that was the first part of the collab! I’ll post the second sometime soon. Hope you enjoyed this!

12 Collabs Of Christmas!

image

Yes! The project I have been so excited for is here!

This month, I’ll be hosting the “12 Collabs Of Christmas” project. Every day, starting the 14th of December, I will be posting a collab with a different person on my blog, up till Christmas!

I have been meaning to do this for a long time, and have been preparing, contacting and organizing all week. I got the idea after realizing I’ve missed Blogmas by a few days, so I wanted to make up for it by doing something different. Youtuber iiSuperwomanii (Lilly Singh) did something similar last year on her channel, so I borrowed the idea and converted it into blog form!

I really want this project to work, because it’s the product of all the friendships I have made through this blog, and all the effort I put into making this blog a place to express my inner awkward self.

I want to celebrate this Christmas with friendship, laughter and love,
and cap my year off with these things.

I also want to prove to myself that if I’m committed to my ideas, I can make what I want happen.

Putting this together wasn’t easy, and there is still a long way to go. But I’m very happy with what I’ve prepared so far, and can’t wait to post everything.

Most of all, I’m so glad that you guys are so supportive and nice. Not one collab request was turned down! Everyone is generous, and has a warm heart. We’re really a family.

I’ll leave it here for tonight. Make sure to come back tomorrow for the very first post from 12 Collabs of Christmas! Enjoy!

My life has a bipolar disorder.

Yeah. Not me. If life was a function problem, I’d be a constant. What a lame ass maths joke.

But my life would be that squiggly lign thingy that goes up and down and up and around and back down again and then does a backflip and lands on it’s ass and still keeps bumping.

This is so sad it’s almost funny. I’m laughing at myself seriously. What the fuck is wrong with everything? Is everyone drunk and I’m the designated driver? I honestly feel like I am. You might say ‘oh please he’s so full of himself he doesn’t realize he’s the problem’ but I seriously don’t think so (hashtagmodestyhashtag).

I really don’t wanna elaborate and say anything I might regret later (remember the time I bashed a teacher of mine? And then made an ‘apology’ post and ended up shading him even more?) so I’ll stop for now. I know my squiggly line of a life will eventually rise up again but I don’t know when and honestly I’m not even sure if I’m going through a ‘minimum’ right now. This has happened to me way too many times in the past to label it a ‘turning point’.

Ugh. I said I would stop talking and I’m STILL talking. I like to talk. But for now I’m gonna have to shut the hell up, find a way to forget about my ‘pretendue’ misery (hashtagfrenchteacherhashtag) which happened to occur conveniently during the time I need to concentrate the most, and study some damn History and a thousand other subjects for my ‘exams’. I say ‘exams’ because the school won’t admit these are exams so that they don’t give us days off to study, but the content and the procedures are the same. They’re fucking with us. This has to be illegal.

“I’m gonna stop talking” I said. LOL.

UPDATE: This is it. I can’t. No. It’s definitely a ‘minimum’. My mental breakdown is happening. I don’t want this to happen. For the fourth time. Is this a joke?! Definitely not. I can’t think straight. Exams? Who fucking cares?! Why?!?!?! I can’t. I don’t wanna cry. I won’t cry, because it’s useless. I can’t do anything. I’m vulnerable. People realize how vulnerable I am before I did. And now I’ve completely lost control. I hate myself.

Sunshine Blogger Award!!

I haven’t done one of these in a while!

Ugh… So many books to read, so many albums to listen to, so many movies to watch… But all I do is SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL. Fuck school.

When I was little, it was always pizza. Then I had a bad pizza once and turned to hamburgers. Now I don’t really have a favorite, I love everything, but burgers have a special place in my heart. And fat.

Have you heard 5 Seconds Of Summer’s new album?

Nah. I just can’t like them. ‘She’s Kinda ahot’ makes me cringe, and that’s just the title.

Mustard or ketchup or both?

Depends, usually ketchup, sometimes both. (Nah really it’s just ketchup)

Pizza or burgers?

You just asked me that!! Burgezzz

Apple or Windows?

Windows all the way. Ah the memories.

Did you know you can change your colour on your blogs writting?

I did know, but I don’t know how!! How?!?!

New Zealand or South Africa?

Well that’s random… I don’t know much about these countries. In which am I least likely to meet attractive teenagers that make hate myself and shrivel up and cry?

Are you dressing up for Halloween? What are you going as?

Omfg you had nominated me before Halloween? I’m such a bad blogger.

We don’t celebrate Halloween, however we do celebrate St. Barabara’s which is like our version of Halloween. I don’t think I’ll dress up, though I wish I could be Harry.

What are you going to get your best friend for christmas?

Hmmmmm… There’s a chance they’ll read this (though doubt it because we have about 12 exams this week) so I’ll keep it to myself 🙂

Rogan’s Questions:

What book would you recommend to a seven year old with a high reading ability?

Ironically, Matilda. I know, I know, she had a high reading ability herself and whatever but really, if a kid like her read the book they’ll feel special. It’s also a really sweet story. (once you take out the mom, the dad, the headmistress, you know)

Hairbrush or comb?

What’s the difference? 😅

Would you rather be the lawyer for someone who murdered someone or who participated in child trafficking?

I’d rather not be a lawyer thank you very much. If I had to chose, I guess it’s the first, because there are a billion ways this could have happened. Child trafficking, on the other hand, is just atrocious in any way you put it.

On a lighter note, what is your favourite season?

Ugh, I’m like your mom. Don’t do favs. Every season has something I love and something I hate. I guess spring has the least stuff I hate so I’ll go with that.

Duvet or blanket?

What’s a duvet? It sounds warm and fluffy so I’ll go with that.

Painting of sketching?

I’m horrible at both, but painting is so fun. And squetshy.

Be able to write a poem or be able to write a book?

A BOOK! GOD I WISH.

Would you rather have the ability to read and comprehend any classic you want, easily, or the ability to stop time whilst reading a classic (NOTE: THIS POWER ONLY APPLIES TO THE READING OF CLASSICS)?

Understand classics! That’d be so useful omg.

Non-fiction or Short Story collection?

Hmm… Non fiction just doesn’t click with me (except if it’s like humor). So short stories.

Black or white?

White.

What Hogwarts house would you be in according to your own opinion of yourself?

Ravenclawzz

Kayyy now my turn to qwetshen you:

1. How do you feel about ISIS’ cute little plan for a worldwide day of terror?

2. What do you think of Adele’s HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIIIIIIIIIDE
3. If you could have any book in the world for free, whether it exists or not, what would you take? (I’m practically giving you a free book. Any book. For free. What’s better than that?)
4. Can you show us your favorite shoe?

5. If you saw someone burning a Harry Potter book, with what weapon would you kill them?

6. What musical instrument would you eradicate if you could?

7. Who’s the pop star you feel like you hate the least?

8. What book would you want to turn into a TV Show?

9. What book would you want your grandma to read when she was your age?

10. Look down, right now, without moving, and type 5 things you see.

11. Bloggers’ Whatsapp Chat Group: Yay or Nay?

Gosh I love coming up with these questions.

I also want everyone to answer that last question in the comments. I’d LOVE it if we had a chat group just for us.
