WHAT THE JUDGES HAD TO SAY:

Let me just first say that this is absolutely lovely! Both the lyrics and the sound of it are very soft and sweet, which I think suits Hufflepost just perfectly. There are motives of friendship and standing up for each other, which are some of the most important original Hufflepuff values. The video is rather simple, but overall this is definitely an amazing entry. Great job!

 

Lovely singer again! Love that the instrumental is also recorded by you guys. Love how creative you have been with the lyrics!

 

The pictures are really cute. The HP analogy was very satisfying and I screamed at Butterbeer.

 

Lyrics were amazing, sticks with the whole idea of the theme. Decent video to come with the lyrics (a bit boring though), and a nice touch replicating the Ukulele!

WHAT THE JUDGES HAD TO SAY:

First off, How To Be A Heartbreaker is definitely my favorite song out of those four, but I tried being as objective as possible. I like the lyrics, they’re just what Slikerin should be about – boasting, threatening, cunning – things like that. Also the video is pretty funny. I’m very glad that I wasn’t disappointed at all and you guys did my favorite song justice!

 

I love the video, especially the parts when they dance  Great job  The best one 

 

Great synchronization with the song, lyrics were impeccable, music video was fun to watch and listen to (although not a full grade since it’s an already existing video and video editing is very common these days)

 

I would have appreciated if the lyrics were a bit more original but the video was amazing! And the mic drop at the end… The chaleur!

 

Given a very operable instrumental, could have come up with more creative lyrics. The video was entertaining to watch until the clips started repeating. Lyrics could have been incorporated in the work or Slikerin could have somehow been asserted via a clever trick.
It just didn’t feel very representative of “Slikerin” as a House.

OVERALL, HUFFLEPOSTS HAD THE BEST SCORES FOR LYRICS, AND SLIKERINS FOR THE VIDEO AND PRESENTATION. FOR THIS REASON, THEY EACH EARN 5 AND 10 ADDITIONAL HOUSE POINTS RESPECTIVELY!

AS THE HEADMASTER WHO HAS ASSISTED ALL OF THE HOUSES THROUGH THEIR PROCESS, I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO GRANT GRYFFINDRAFT 5 POINTS FOR BEING THE BEST TEAM WORKERS IN THIS TEAM CHALLENGE. I’M SORRY ABOUT HOW THIS TURNED OUT FOR YOU GUYS, YOU DID WONDERFULLY, BUT THERE HAD TO BE A LAST PLACE.
