My life has a bipolar disorder.

Yeah. Not me. If life was a function problem, I’d be a constant. What a lame ass maths joke.

But my life would be that squiggly lign thingy that goes up and down and up and around and back down again and then does a backflip and lands on it’s ass and still keeps bumping.

This is so sad it’s almost funny. I’m laughing at myself seriously. What the fuck is wrong with everything? Is everyone drunk and I’m the designated driver? I honestly feel like I am. You might say ‘oh please he’s so full of himself he doesn’t realize he’s the problem’ but I seriously don’t think so (hashtagmodestyhashtag).

I really don’t wanna elaborate and say anything I might regret later (remember the time I bashed a teacher of mine? And then made an ‘apology’ post and ended up shading him even more?) so I’ll stop for now. I know my squiggly line of a life will eventually rise up again but I don’t know when and honestly I’m not even sure if I’m going through a ‘minimum’ right now. This has happened to me way too many times in the past to label it a ‘turning point’.

Ugh. I said I would stop talking and I’m STILL talking. I like to talk. But for now I’m gonna have to shut the hell up, find a way to forget about my ‘pretendue’ misery (hashtagfrenchteacherhashtag) which happened to occur conveniently during the time I need to concentrate the most, and study some damn History and a thousand other subjects for my ‘exams’. I say ‘exams’ because the school won’t admit these are exams so that they don’t give us days off to study, but the content and the procedures are the same. They’re fucking with us. This has to be illegal.

“I’m gonna stop talking” I said. LOL.

UPDATE: This is it. I can’t. No. It’s definitely a ‘minimum’. My mental breakdown is happening. I don’t want this to happen. For the fourth time. Is this a joke?! Definitely not. I can’t think straight. Exams? Who fucking cares?! Why?!?!?! I can’t. I don’t wanna cry. I won’t cry, because it’s useless. I can’t do anything. I’m vulnerable. People realize how vulnerable I am before I did. And now I’ve completely lost control. I hate myself.

Beginners’ Guide To Blogging #1 – An Intro To Blogging

I’m taking part in a blogging project hosted by the lovely ateenagediaryonline called Beginners’ Guide To Blogging; where each two weeks we are given a topic to blog about. Anyone can take part!

Today’s topic is An Intro To Blogging. Let’s begin!

When I first started blogging, I literally had no idea what I was doing. I had just finished reading Hyperbole & A Half, and was so impressed that I decided to do a blog of my own. I thought it would just be my private corner on the internet where I “write stuff”.
I did not know that blogging was much more than that.
Blogging is a whole lifestyle. You can’t take it lightly, because it takes a fair amount of time. The more you want to perfect your blog, the more you’ll spend time on it, and the more you’ll become attached to it. This blog has become my baby. It’s my creation. I’m protective of it, no matter how useless my posts can be. Once you’re in, it’s hard to get out.
Blogging is also a community. Honestly, this is the absolute best part about it. I remember the thrill of having my first follower, my first like, my first comment. I never thought anyone would discover this blog; barely 3 months later (WAIT… IT’S EXACTLY 3 MONTHS LATER! HIGH FIVE 💃 HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLOGGIE) and I’m near a hundred followers! How did that happen? It’s because I took part in the community.
There is no way you’re gonna go out there, communicate, comment on people’s post and take part in their discussions, without them noticing you, visiting your blog and participating in it too. We’re a very lovely and helpful community, and I have yet to meet bloggers who are rude or unpleasant (either that, or I’m the unpleasant one. Please tell me I ain’t right. For my self-esteem.) You might very well find some of your best friends on here.
Most of all, blogging is fun. It’s your work in progress. It’s your outlet, your canvas, your creative journal. You can do virtually anything you like with it. Except maybe eat it. But that’s not much of an inconvenience.
Blogging is love.
Blogging is life.
Blogging is distracting me from my chemistry test, so bye.

My Life In Books Tag!

Hey! Today I’m doing a (very overdue) tag which I was nominated to do by Rogan (a.k.a one of the nicest bloggers I’ve e-met) from Signing On. It’s the My Life in Books Book Tag! Let’s get started:

1.Find a book for each of your initials:

An Abundance Of Katherines by John Green

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (please tell me I’ve got the author right)

Gone Girl by someone I don’t remember

(I’m terrible. I know.)

2. Count your age along your bookshelf. Which book is it?

I won’t count my Harry Potter book shelf, because obviously it’s gonna be predictable. From my regular shelf… Hyperbole & a Half by Allie Brosh!

3. Pick a book set in your city/state/country.

There’s a very limited number of books that have been set in my country, and most of which are in arabic (a.k.a I’ve never really read any). There is just this one small story I remember reading in French about five years ago, it’s called Le Foulard Jaune (The Yellow Scarf) and it’s about a Chinese exchange student who faces racism from people at her lebanese school. It’s an interesting story because from where I’m from I think racism and prejudice are present among many of us, the reason being that we are never really exposed to many different races. The only black people we see are maids and servants from Africa (don’t worry, it’s not slavery, we pay them, but I think they’re very badly mistreated). The main conflicts here are religion-based.

4. A book that represents a destination you would love to travel to.

Harry Potter. Need I say more?

5. Pick a book that is your favourite colour.

My copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2014 Bloomsbury Edition) has this amazing shade of azur fading into deep blue. Combined with the silver patronus and the tiny gold stars, it’s really magical.

6. Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

I feel like the Harry Potter card is very easily played in this type of book tags (as I have already done myself). I’m going to go with a french book called Sans Famille, which I remember reading and loving during fourth grade. It really made an impact.

7. Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

Well… I don’t know. I never finished Angels and Demons but I think that was just because I wasn’t in the mood. There was this story for french class last year called La Mort Du Roi Tsongor. I hated the setting, the characters, everything wasn’t my taste, so I’ll say that. I guess if the story had been put in a different setting, I would have appreciated it better, because the plot was quite interesting.

8. Which book in your TBR pile will give you the greatest feeling of accomplishment when you read it?

Everything! I want to read everything, and it’s all satisfying! But the one that would stick out would be… Hmm. Nothing really. I’m not forcing myself to read anything just for the hell of it. If I had to chose, it would be Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, it’s iconic but I can’t find the integral version anywhere. It’s also huge.

Aaand that’s it! I hope you enjoyed reading this tag, I haven’t done any in a while 🙂 I’d like to nominate gxxdbyeagony, Rei, Laura, and calliopethebookgoddess to do this. Have fun!

Soundtrack To My Life Tag!

Hello! So today I was supposed to post my ‘Liebster Award’ post that I have been postponing for ever, but unfortunately I have been very busy. Yesterday we moved from our summer home to our winter one, and I had so much to unpack and organize. To top it all off, SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW! I literally have nothing done. I’m worried. Also, I really don’t want to go back to school. AND I have no wifi and no 3G so I have no idea how I’ll be posting this, but I’ll find a way. I always do.

Anyway, since I can’t post the award today, I’ll just post this nice tag I found online a while ago (I’m really sorry I don’t remember the source) that has been sitting in my draft list in case of emergency (like this one).

So here we go 🙂

Song you listen to when you’re happy?
#GETITRIGHT – Miley Cyrus

Song you listen to when you’re sad?
Grand Piano – Nicki Minaj (weird right)

What song will you have at your wedding?
Style – Taylor Swift

What song do you dance around the house to?
Chikini Chameli – Agneepath (incredibly catchy Indian song)

Song you play on your headphones when out and about?
Literally anything, but if I had to pick it would be The Night Is Still Young by Nicki Minaj.

Song you listen to when you’re angry?
When I’m angry I usually am in no mood for music.

Song you’d have at your funeral?
Lady Gaga Epic Megamix (just because when I first heard it, I thought this is the song I want for my funeral). Also, Pity Party by Melanie Martinez because it’s awesome and it would probably creep everyone out at the funeral.

Song that makes you lose your shit at a party?
Get Low – DJ Snake (this is based purely on my expectation. I’ve never been to a party for that to actually happen so I wouldn’t really know.)

The last song you listened to?
The Love Club – Lorde

Your karaoke song?
Shake it Off – Taylor Swift (and pretty much everything else by Taylor Swift.)

What song do you work out/exercise to?
Baby Got Back – Sir Mix-a-Lot

Song with the most memories attached?
Applause – Lady Gaga (my first ever anticipated release.)

Song that makes you cry?
Lily’s Theme – Deathly Hallows Soundtrack (yep. Everything about that movie makes me weep.)

Song you hate the most?
Every single scout chant that my sisters belt out every five seconds. I can hardly think of anything that makes me want to kill myself more.

Your favourite song of all time?
Bad Romance – Lady Gaga. The best. Ever.

Fin \(^o^)/

This was the tag, hope it was entertaining!

I’ll tag a few music-lovers:

Rob Minshull ( )

Emily ( )

manselcameron ( )

mashmato ( )

And anyone else who’d like to do this tag! 🙂

Thanks for reading! I’ll now go back to cleaning my bookshelves, organizing my closets and dreading school. Yay!

My Life In Movies Challenge – Animated Version

I received a suggestion to do this fun challenge by Claire Packer where I have to name my favorite movie from each year, starting my birth year up till now.

I decided to add a little twist, and that is instead of naming movies in general I would go with animated movies. (Also so that I won’t end up with a list where half the movies are Harry Potter and the other half are YA movie adaptations)

So here you go:

2015: Minions

2014: The Lego Movie

2013: Despicable Me 2 (Runners Up: Monsters University, Frozen)

2012: Brave

2011: Rango

2010: Despicable Me (Runners Up: Toy Story 3; Tangled)

2009: Up

2008: WALL-E

2007: Ratatouille

2006: Arthur and the Invisibles

2005: Corpse Bride

2004: Shrek 2

2003: Finding nemo

2002: Spirited Away

2001: Monsters, Inc

2000: The Emperor’s New Groove

1999: Toy Story 2

The movies I enjoyed most would be Despicable Me, Monsters, Inc, Ratatouille and Up. They are all fun and touching in different ways.

What are your favorite movies from each year?
